The term of the lease includes the initial partial year in which it is issued, plus 30 additional years. A leaseholder may submit an application for renewal.

A lease is issued subject to terms and conditions specified in 43 CFR 2809.18, including rental payment as specified under 43 CFR 2806.54. Additional terms and conditions for leases may be listed in the Notice of Competitive Offer.
